Law&Language Translations was founded in 1996. Ever since, the translation office has clearly aimed itself along the route of specialisation, and now its name is synonymous with legal translation. It has become a language-service provider with a wide spectrum of translation and other language services; however, its premium product is unarguably legal translation.

Lawyer to Lawyer (L2L) services
During the conscious construction of past years, we have developed into a “Lawyer to Lawyer” service provider, having managed to ensure that the translation of legal texts, especially the range of company documents, legal documents, and documents created for or designed to be used in corporate procedures, notary public procedures, and proceedings of authorities and courts, is executed by translators with a law degree, and checked by editors with a law degree.

Our clients already know why they should hire experts for the translation of their legal documents who, in addition to having translator’s certificates are also lawyers themselves – just like those drawing up the source texts to be translated. Their expertise guarantees the highest possible quality attainable in this area. The team at Law&Language Translations comprises such experts. Our colleagues are aware that legal translation can be executed successfully not only with a dictionary in hand, but by researching the legal regulations of the target-language state or organisation, using the correct technical terminology accurately. Our added value, namely that, in the area of corporate law documents, Hungarian authorities accept our translations as being CERTIFIED with enclosures prepared in line with formal requirements, is important for our customers.

Law&Language Translations is committed to QUALITY. Naturally, this extends not only to legal texts, but all other translation tasks. We prepare translations (not only legal ones) from and into most European languages, and from and into several non-European languages. Our colleagues have been hand-picked as the result of a years-long selection process, in the interests of the expert and precise execution of your translation order. Our translations are prepared with great professional attention, applying the latest terminology. We use the latest technologies and up-to-date CAT devices. In the case of outstandingly quality-sensitive texts, we include EDITING among our services.

In its customer relations, Law&Language Translations bears two principles in mind at all times: MAXIMUM TRUST and the principle of MAXIMUM CONVENIENCE of services.

At the very beginning of our operation, we decided to take a business risk in not releasing details of our clients or cases that we are involved in for commendations or the acquisition of business, even to the extent of quoting a reference. So far, we haven’t regretted our decision.

We employ our subcontractors and colleagues within the framework of the strictest confidentiality agreements. In priority cases, we undertake a special confidentiality obligation – related to the assignment in question – as well as tasks related to unique confidentiality.

In our office, administration is fully electronic. You can submit your order electronically, to which we will always respond with a personalised price quotation. We can receive documents in any format. Upon your request, we will send you the completed translation electronically; however, you can also collect the work from our Budapest or Pécs offices. In the case of certified translations or official translations with an enclosure, we can also send the requested number of copies of the translation to your address by mail or courier service.
